Alhambra (2009) 3C

Hand-crafted in Spain, with a solid red Cedar top, laminated mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, and nickel plated heads. It came with a heavy padded Tobago bag. The Alhambra 3C is a beautiful guitar. It is beautifully crafted, has a wonderful tone, is very loud, and is very playable.

Master luthier Dake Traphagen is well known for his concert level classical instruments. The Minstrel is his crossover nylon model. This instrument features a cedar top, beautiful quarter sawn brazilian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fretboard w/notch diamond fretboard inlays. The instrument is bound in sycamore, with rope style purffling. The instrument has a 46mm nut width, and features a cutaway leaving easy access to the upper registers. The instrument has a K&K pickup system.

The rich, powerful bass response is perfectly balanced by clear articulate trebles. This instrument is preowned, french polished, and is in excellent condition.

HILL GUITAR COMPANY produces a line of guitars called the Master Series; beautiful hand made classical and flamenco guitars based on works of the finest historical guitar makers. Made in California from the finest woods available by a small team of craftsmen trained and supervised by Kenny Hill.

Miguel Rodriguez and family worked in the city of Cordoba in southern Spain from the early 1900s until the late 1970s. This guitar has a large, romantic Spanish sound, with power and vitality. It has five fan braces and a larger diagonal brace connecting the lower and upper bouts. It has laminated linings for the top and back with a unique reinforcement system for the sound board under the finger board, but it is otherwise a quintessentially Spanish 20th century guitar.
