Bolt-On Neck Fretted Series! This bass produces a thick rich sound reminiscent of a good vintage tone with a sweet rather than harsh high end; however, retaining the ability to cut through a mix. The addition of the very natural sounding preamp allows for variability towards more modern sounds. The two separate volumes allow you to blend the two pickups in any amount of each, not limiting you to the fixed levels of a blend control. The passive tone control functions whether in passive or active mode enabling it to modify a different set of frequencies than the ones affected by the active tone controls. These fretted basses are well balanced standing or sitting and are a joy to play.

Vintage Fretted Series. F Bass’ VF5 captures the vibe, feel, and accurate tone reproduction of the classic ‘60s and ‘70s basses but feature modern advantages such as; easy access to the higher frets, an onboard preamp, and a solid low B string. This model is made for those players who prefer a more traditional sound and feel, as opposed to the more modern standard F Bass line of instruments.The two separate volumes allow you to blend the magnetic and piezo pickups in any amount of each, not limiting you to the fixed levels of a blend control. The passive tone control functions whether in passive or active mode enabling it to modify a different set of frequencies than the ones affected by the active tone controls.

The basses feature a 34 inch scale length. The rosewood chosen for the fingerboard is Madagascar Rosewood, a very close substitute for the rare Brazilian Rosewood, with a very similar cellular structure, grain colouration and “ping tone”. As with our other models, the VFs are well balanced standing or sitting and are a joy to play.

Ritter Bass Guitars is a manufacturer of high-end boutique electric bass guitars. It was founded by Jens Ritter in the mid-1990s.
