Fender (1957) Stratocaster (2-Tone Sunburst)
This is a beautiful ’57 Stratocaster that has been played and taken care of for many years. It’s been refretted with slightly bigger frets, has had 1 pickguard screw replaced and the rubber pickup mounting springs have been replaced with metal ones. It plays great and has that classic late ’50’s Fender tone. Killer axe!

Fender (1959) Stratocaster HardTail (3-Tone Sunburst)
An exceptionally sounding example of the rare hardtail style Stratocaster®.
Hardtail refers to a fixed bridge which does not include a vibrato set up. The Hardtail models are the rarer of the two, and some players prefer this model due to its overall sound quality “resonance.” This guitar shows a beautiful sunburst finish with some playing wear. Fender well-known performers who use HardTail style Stratocasters include Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins. and Tom DeLonge of the American pop punk band Blink-182 as well as the guitarist and lead vocalist for the alternative band Angels & Airwaves.

Fender (1968) Esquire (Blonde)
Near Mint. With Tags, strap, patch cord, cleaning cloth, ashtray and even the original ’68 string packet!! Plus this beauty has a rare maple-cap neck- not the std maple neck! A rare beauty!
Fender (1969) Stratocaster (Sonic Blue)
We know the word mint gets used quite a bit these days, but when we say this instrument is mint condition we mean MINT! This is one of those “somebody bought me and I spent the next 30 years under a bed” guitars. The Sonic Blue finish has perfectly faded to resemble Surf Green. The plating on the hardware is shinny and bright. The Rosewood fretboard shows no wear neither does the neck. She’s 100% original and plays like a dream.w/OHSC.
Fender (1969) Telecaster (Rosewood)
1969 Telecaster, rare all-rosewood model, made famous by George Harrison. Near-mint-mint super-clean condition. Even more fantastic, it’s one of just 10 or so made with a factory-original chambered body, making it extremely rare. But best of all, unlike the 11-lb examples you’ve seen, the rare chambered body gives this gem a feather-weight of just 8.5 lbs! Very special, very clean, and very hard to find another. sn 256852
With Hardshell case!
Fender (1969) Thineline Tele
This near mint Natural Finish Tele Thinline is from the second year of production. It’s Ash body has a single “F” hole on the chambered bass side. It is 100% original and display very little wear on her fretboard. The body has only a few small dings and absolutely no finish checking. Most importantly she sounds amazing, with all the bite and twang a good tele should have but with a more open and lively sound than her solid body counterparts. W/ohsc

Gibson (1954) ES-175 (Sunburst)
The gibson ES-175 guitars were one of the most important electric archtop guitars ever to come out of kalamazoo , its an all time classic and was a true players guitar .
During the 50s the gibson es 175 was extremely popular because it was affordable ($175) , and it had that deep body , warm , distinctive woodiness sound which was found only in more expensive gibson guitars such as the johnny smith and the L-5 .
This is a stupendous, near-mint example of a single P-90 1950’s ES-175. The P-90 pickup lives up to its legendary reputation — thick, dark and sweet as maple syrup.
All original, with Maple body, mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Standard neck shape. Original electronics and hardware.

Gibson (1956) ES-225 (Blonde)
Sweet player! Very clean, with replaced early 60’s knobs.
Some background on this model:
The gibson es-225 guitars were built in 1955 , very similar to the 1960s es-125tc and the es-125tdc ( better known as the George thorogood guitars )
The es-225 t had a different tailpiece , the strings looped over the bridge , the guitar is a thinline archtop guitar , it has a single pointed cutaway , fully hollow bound body and neck , came with 1.
p90 pickup placed in the middle between the neck and bridge which was very unpopular amongst guitarists ( pick ups were covered with black covers ) and came in natural and sunburst finish .
In 1956 gibson introduced the es-225td which was the same guitar but with double p-90 pickups ( considered a better choice at the time for the price difference ) . In 1959 both the es-225 t and the es-225 td were discontinued .
Gibson (1956) ES-225 (Sunburst)
All original, in great condition. Comes with replacement tuners, the original machine heads are included as well.

Gibson (1958) Les Paul Custom (Black Beauty)
[…] The second issue of the Les Paul guitar was introduced to the public in 1954. Called the Gibson Les Paul Custom, this entirely black guitar was dubbed the Black Beauty. The Les Paul Custom featured a mahogany top to differentiate the instrument from its Goldtop predecessor’s maple top. It also featured the new Tune-o-Matic bridge design and a pickup with an alnico-5 magnet in the neck position. In addition, since 1957, the Custom was fitted with Gibson’s new humbucker pickups, and later became available with three pickups instead of the more usual two. The three pickup model retained the standard Gibson 3-way switch so not all pickup combinations were possible. The neck and bridge-only settings were retained, but the middle was changed to switch in the middle and bridge pickups. […]

Some background on the Barney Kessel model
Gibson Barney Kessel Custom ( 1961-1973 )
Influenced by charlie christian , during the late 1950s Barney Kessell was one of the most popular jazz guitar players in america. The gibson Barney Kessel guitar was launched alongside the johnny smith guitar .
During the early 50s Barney Kessel played on the gibson es-350 , later on in the late 50s he endorsed 3 guitars from a company called Kay musical instrument Co.
During the same time gibson convinced barney kessel that they would match the deal he had with this company and build him a better guitar .
In late 1960 , gibson introduced a prototype guitar with a double florentine cutaway shape, very similar features of the gibson l-5 ( 17” wide ), it was cherry sunburst , laminated spruce top , laminated back and sides , and with an oversized peghead .
From this prototype in 1961 two versions of this guitar were produced , the Barney Kessel custom which featured fancy bow tie inlays on the fingerboard similar to their banjos , gold plated parts , maple neck ,bound f-holes , music note on peghead , and a tune o matic bridge .
The Barney Kessel regular had a crown inlay on the headstock , mahogany neck , unbound f-holes , parallelogram inlays on the fingerboard , kluson tuners unlike the barney Kessel custom which had grover tuners , the two guitars were made in cherry sunburst finishes and were equipped with 2 humbuckers .
In 1961 the Barney Kessel custom was not as successful as expected due to other quality guitars such as the gibson Byrdland which listed at the same price $599 and were considered by many as better looking guitars and more appealing .
However the gibson Barney Kessel regular was more successful and popular because of the price difference ( $399 ) . Bk customs were discontinued in late 1973 and bk regular models were discontinued in early 1974 , some speculate that they were both discontinued in 1974 .

Some history on the Gibson SG-100
Late 1971 saw the launch of Gibsons new SG models, featuring an expanded range of budget models to replace the SG Junior and Melody Maker. Four new models, the SG-Deluxe, SG-Pro, SG-100 and SG-200 were announced in June 1971, with the SG-250 being added to the range in November. The Deluxe and Pro were, in many ways, renamed Standard and Special, however the SGs 100, 200 and 250 were the real attempts to capture the budget guitar market. Sucess was mixed; the SG200 did reach sales levels not seen on the SG Junior since the mid 1960s. Despite this these models were replaced by the SG-I SG-II and SG-III the following year
