From his shop in Farmingdale, New York and later during his “golden period” in Greenport Long Island, New York, D’Aquisto became the top guitar maker from the late 1960s until his death in 1995.

Gibson (1954) ES-175 (Sunburst)
The gibson ES-175 guitars were one of the most important electric archtop guitars ever to come out of kalamazoo , its an all time classic and was a true players guitar .
During the 50s the gibson es 175 was extremely popular because it was affordable ($175) , and it had that deep body , warm , distinctive woodiness sound which was found only in more expensive gibson guitars such as the johnny smith and the L-5 .
This is a stupendous, near-mint example of a single P-90 1950’s ES-175. The P-90 pickup lives up to its legendary reputation — thick, dark and sweet as maple syrup.

Some background info:
The Gibson ES-225 guitars were originally built in 1955 , very similar to the 1960s es-125tc and the es-125tdc ( better known as the George Thorogood guitars )
The ES-225 t had a different tailpiece , the strings looped over the bridge , the guitar is a thinline archtop guitar, it has a single cutaway, fully hollow bound body and neck , came with 1 p90 pickup placed in the middle between the neck and bridge (covered with black covers ) and came in natural and sunburst finish .
In 1959 both the ES-225 t and the ES-225 td were discontinued .
Gibson (1956) ES-5 Switchmaster (Sunburst)
The Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster was truly a guitar ahead of its time. First introduced in 1949, the ES-5 Switchmaster was the first ES guitar to be fitted with three pickups, and was initially intended solely for jazz players. It was dubbed the “supreme electronic version” of Gibson’s L-5 and offered a unique four-knob control circuitry that allowed players to manage pickup selection by adjusting the volume of each pickup, thus eliminating the pickup selector switch.

Gibson (1958) Les Paul Custom (Black Beauty)
[…] The second issue of the Les Paul guitar was introduced to the public in 1954. Called the Gibson Les Paul Custom, this entirely black guitar was dubbed the Black Beauty. The Les Paul Custom featured a mahogany top to differentiate the instrument from its Goldtop predecessor’s maple top. It also featured the new Tune-o-Matic bridge design and a pickup with an alnico-5 magnet in the neck position. In addition, since 1957, the Custom was fitted with Gibson’s new humbucker pickups, and later became available with three pickups instead of the more usual two. The three pickup model retained the standard Gibson 3-way switch so not all pickup combinations were possible. The neck and bridge-only settings were retained, but the middle was changed to switch in the middle and bridge pickups. […]
