Rudy in Italy - Mark Knopfler's new MK2
Rudy Pensa flew to Milan, Italy on June 9, 2005 to bring his good friend, Mark Knopfler, a new Pensa MK 2 Plus. Mark said that it is the best one ever, and he will be playing it throughout the rest of his tour. While in Italy, Rudy was on tour with Mark and the band traveling through Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and Napoli.
Mark Knopfler’s new Pensa MK2 Plus features a 5A Wild Figured Maple top with Amber Slight Burst satin finish, a 1-piece Mahogany body and Mahogany neck with Heritage Cherry satin finish, East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 24.6” scale, binding on the neck and body, Lindy Fralin Custom pickups, 5-way selector with Push/Pull on the bridge pickup tone knob, 1 11/16” bone nut, 22 Dunlop 6150 frets, Hipshot Hardtail bridge, Gotoh 510 tuners and gold hardware.
